Review of Conan the Barbarian (1982) by Richard C — 06 Aug 2010
This is very likely the best in heroic fantasy before the advent of LOTR: the soundtrack is amazing, the main actor thankfully gets no more then 5 words in the film(his English was still pretty bad at that point), James Earl Jones always makes for an exceptional villain and the prehistoric era and atmosphere is rendered very well.
The film loses a point for the overtly silly witch sequence...
