Review of Conan O'Brien Can't Stop (2011) by June P — 24 Jun 2011
At first I assumed this was going to show a really bad side of Conan O'Brien. While this film does show a different side of my favorite talk show host, it's hardly negative. This film shows how one man can't do everything by himself.
Conan seems to be a tortured show in that (as the title suggests) he 'Can't Stop' himself from entertaining people. Whether it's his tour, or his writers/assistants, or random fans in various cities; he can't stop himself from pleasing everyone.
There are a lot of laughs in this film but overall it's a great insight on how one man acts after the worst moments in his life just occurred. Even with all the summer blockbusters that are out this might be the best film of the season.
Even if you can't see it with its limited release in theaters definitely grab it on netflix or on DVD.
