I'm not a Conan O'Brien fan. I'm also not not a Conan O'Brien fan. On the rare occasion I tune in to is how, I have always found his stuff funny, while thnkng he seems slightly uncomfortable.

But his handling of his ouster from NBC was so fascinating, and his show became such appointment television during that strange period, that I was really looking forward to a documentay covering his 44-city live tour in the months between leaving NBC and heading to TBS.

I guess, in a way, I'm still looking forward to it. CONAN O'BRIEN CAN'T STOP is both exactly what you'd expect and kind of none of what you'd expect. It's revealing to see his raw emotions still on display months after the turmoil, that the loss of The Tonight Show may have caused a wound that will never completely heal.

But the documentary can't decide if it's an in-depth look at the man or a concert version of the tour, and in being a little of both it turns out to be a lot of neither. In the end, I think the movie ends up being for hardcore Coco fans - the rest of us just end up wanting more.
