Review of Conan O'Brien Can't Stop (2011) by Ded-Meet C — 23 Sep 2011
Hilarious? Hardly... Fun? It has it´s moments, occasionally... Interresting and worth seeing? Absolutely! This is a somewhat strange "documentary" about a show Conan puts together and went on the road with following his deal with a certain TV-company - a deal that banned him from appearing on TV and most other media for six months (was it?). It basically shows what is going on behind the scenes of his tour, bits and pices of the show itself, gives some insight on him as a person, all in a nice mix. Feels unusually honest and straightforward actually...
I can certainly recommend this as an interresting and well made documentary - as described further up - just as long as people realize it´s not the show itself, or stand-up or anything, they´re gonna be seeing. I´m happy to wish him the best of luck on what will propably be the real start of his career and not the rest of his career.
