Review of Conan O'Brien Can't Stop (2011) by Jack G — 28 Sep 2011
I take this guy for granted sometimes (or, frankly, haven't caught a lot of his new TBS show since it started), but really 'Coco' is one of those true-blue entertainers. He even calls himself 'vaudeville' many times, and finds this opportunity after NBC fucked him over like the chance of his life to just be an entertainer.
And it works. Funny, sharp, really cool music. Would've liked to have seen a little of the documentary aspect of his split from NBC, but then again that would've taken away from what the title is - he can't stop, and even when he bitches about too many meet and greets, it's in his blood.
It's not a great movie but it's great to see Conan being Conan.
