Review of Con Air (1997) by Russell G — 11 Dec 2011
It was ridiculously unrealistic right from the firs scene, but I didn't care. It is pretty exciting it is filled with larger than life action that can be really entertaining. John Malkovich and John Cusack are very good but Nicholas Cage, the main character, is just bad (not a shocker).
The movie overcomes the bumbling first billed idiot and succeeds on its action. Do not overanalyze it or try to look for a deeper and just enjoy this one.
