The fact that this is based on actual events is disturbing, but it's mainly disturbing that people can be this stupid. The movie is frustrating, as certain important details are completely glossed-over, and the writing serves to make the story seem so unbelievable that it appears to almost make a mockery of the reality.
The film serves no purpose other than to make people, especially those involved in the real occurrence, look like morons, and to infuriate viewers.
