The characters' idiocy is so nail-bitingly frustrating that I found myself looking up the details of the actual story to keep myself entertained, only to find the events are a sequentially accurate recount of what actually occurred.
This turned the film from 'ridiculous' to 'utterly compelling'. The film is overly-long, and there's certainly not an hour and a half's worth of story here, but as a competent docu-drama it makes great watching.
