Review of Communion (1989) by Anthony D — 15 Apr 2008
Let's face it, Christopher Walken is just awesome, but he's brilliantly eccentric here and he really makes this film. It would've been so much worse with another actor. The alien scenes are surprisingly creepy, atmospheric, and yet at the same time oddly comical, which is good, because they are kind of silly.
The family-impact isn't handled too well, and there's no real story, but it's entertaining and fascinating.
