Nutty enough to be entertaining, Communion is incompetent in most of the ways. Awful dialogue, stunningly flat performances (save for Walken, who is very fun to watch here, and prevents the movie from being ever being too dull), an ill-fitting score and just an overall sense of confusion as to the kind of movie it is.
