Review of Commando (1985) by Joseph H — 11 Apr 2010

This movie could have easily called "Arnold Schwarzenegger vs. Army of private army". This is quite simply the ultimate action flick. It has everything. It has dozens of people trying to shoot our hero but they just can't seem to hit him (what are they? Storm Troopers? They can't seem to aim to save their lives either), explosions, cheesy but endearing one liners, slight continuity errors, and Arnold Schwarzenegger kicking ass.

I forgot to mention that I thought it was amusing when the General that John served under comes to warn him about that his men were murdered and he could be next. I found it amusing that John could "smell them coming", also the fact that it never occurred to the General that he could have lead the terrorists straight to him in the first place.
