Review of Coming to America (1988) by Alex G — 22 Sep 2012

While love may come way too easily in this film, and the characters never really feel too real, and every set up is very obviously lending itself to a later pay off, the film is lots of fun. It plays with its premise nicely and lends itself to decent comedic moments.

Its the films heart that really makes this film as good as it is. And setting it in the Trading Places universe was a nice touch.
