Eddie Murphy shines in one of his best roles as Prince Akeem, who leaves his African homeland for Queens, New York in search of a queen. Co-star Arsenio Hall provides ample comedic support. Director John Landis delivered the goods with this picture.
Neither Landis nor Mr. Hall had much success after this movie.
