Review of Coming to America (1988) by Gordon T — 04 Mar 2010
THIS FILM IS TERRIFIC!!!!! A PERENNIALLY-WARM-HEARTED uplifting and beautiful fairy-tale of a comedy.
If you notice, most critics are from one culture and this film is about another culture, maybe if (deleted) MAGAZINE would hire less STUCK-UP critics like (deleted)--dude, (deleted) is like some one hundred year old white guy reviewing a "hip, urban comedy.".
COMING TO AMERICA won the B.E.T. BEST IMAGE AWARD and everything.
I'll bet a one hundred year old white guy like (deleted) could care less about B.E.T.
And therefore would discount the value of COMING TO AMERICA as a precious comedy.
I think it was also (deleted) who called THE EXORCIST a "freak-show" and said that HALLOWEEN was a "low-octane thriller".
What a prick (deleted) of (deleted) MAGAZINE is!!!!!!
(deleted) I had to CENSOR my own (deleted) review because sometimes critics like (deleted) make me so (deleted) mad I could RALPH pea soup all over the theater.
What kind of (deleted) would call THE EXORCIST A "freak show?".
And HALLOWEEN a "low-octane thriller".
Some critics are straight-up pricks of human nature.
(I think I'm getting a little tired and grouchy).
