Review of Coming Home (1978) by Hunter D — 16 Nov 2007
A superbly acted commentary on the Vietnam war and its impact on American society at home. It's one of Hal Ashby's best films, and it's easily one of the great classics of American cinema in the seventies.
Bruce Dern's performance is breathtaking, and worth watching for it alone.
