A sad movie about a love triangle created by the vietnam war- this is not a war movie though. it's an important movie in itself as one of the first to try to tackle the vietnam war experience in some way - it would be years before war movies were made about it.

there's no real resolution at the end, so if you go into this movie be prepared to just expect a glimpse of these people's lives - you never get the full story about any of these characters.
