Review of Coming Home (1978) by Paul J — 28 Apr 2009
Ashby was the unsung hero of the 70s. A golden star with delicate and tender instincts. One helluva editor and a compulsive pot smoker. I love the guy. Coming Home was one of his more sentimental films.
Still ,the performances were astonishing across the board. This is where Ashby shined the most - getting actors to deliver the utmost best.
