Formally amazing & conceptually innovative. all shot from a hidden camera the main character has hidden in his secret apt. in nyc where he snorts coke, cheats on his wife, and goes insane. i'll never know for sure, but this has got to be rip torn's finest performance.
he's out of control. really really cool movie.
