Review of Coming 2 America (2021) by Kirkender — 12 May 2021

An entirely watchable, wholly unnecessary sequel that follows in the trend of decades later sequels that say nothing. There's very little comedy and what jokes exist are mostly casual misogyny. Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall are fine.

Leslie Jones and Jermaine Fowler are great and should have been the focus of the story. It's not worth watching but it's also not worth hating. It's a perfect movie to watch while scrolling through twitter.
