Review of Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope (2011) by Russell J — 10 Jun 2012
In the beginning I was unsure if this was going to a real stab and the geek populace as a whole or a study of the passion fans put into their fandom. I was pleasantly surprised to see the latter. With fantastic cameos from Joss Whedon, Kevin Smith and the man everyone wants as their grandad, Stan "The Man" Lee, this is a celebration of the Mecca that brings geeks from all over the world together for 4 glorious days, San Diego Comic Con.
While following several storylines, you get a real broad introspect on the different things Comic Con holds for different types of fans, be it prospective artists, costume designers or just regular fans.
Funny mostly, occasionally embarrassing for the fan watching at home and brutally honest in its reflections I give this a great RECCOMENDATION for anyone interested in attending the biggest fan event of the year.
