Review of Come Back to the 5 & Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean (1982) by Geir F — 16 Apr 2008
A sort of unseen treasure because of its unavailability, but it holds the characteristic charm of some of Robert Altman's best works. It flows like a dream and the ensemble is stunning, with Cher and Sandy Dennis as the standouts.
The stage to screen aspect works magically, and while many of the character turns are easy to choreograph, it's always enticing.
