This is one of those rare movies that haunts me after I watch it. There is a lot going on in this movie symbolically and thematically. The dense mood, single set, and camera work give the movie an apocalyptic feeling that will stay with you long after the credits.
Every member of the cast is superb, eliciting the correct amount of sympathy and disgust in equal measure. Every time I watch this movie, I find another layer of the performances, direction, and script to enjoy.
A rare gem.
