Shot in 1960, meant as a sort of tongue-in-cheek romp through the sword-and-sandal genre popular in Italy at the time, and fleshed out with a couple of jazzy dance numbers, this adventure finds Hope and Crosby (!) stranded on an island where women call the shots and men are only sex slaves.
Our stars wink at each other and snigger. If only they'd 've put as much effort in the writing as they did the dance numbers.
