Review of Color of Night (1994) by Jessie M — 18 Aug 2007
Most of the elements of the movie made me wince -- from the unconvincing lead actress, to the hackneyed plot twists, to the cardboard psychopathologies, and the sleazy soft-core score. However, I found Bruce Willis to be as appealing as ever (I only wish they'd made the decision to go Hudson Hawk with this rather than playing it straight, because it really was that ridiculous); and I really enjoyed seeing some recognizable actors (Scott Bakula, Lance Henriksen, Ruben Blades, and the incomparable Eriq La Salle) thirteen years earlier in their careers.
