Review of Colombiana (2011) by Kenneth L — 20 Apr 2012
This was an attempt to make a Tony Scott film by someone other than Tony Scott. The story and plot were the standard "you killed my parents, I must get revenge" formula we've seen many times.
So, the only thing to separate this movie from the rest of the crowd is its star and its style. Zoe Saldana does a good job looking good while kicking ass. On the other hand, the film's style ends up looking like a cheap knock-off of Tony Scott.
In the end, it was worth watching, but it was nothing special.
