Review of Collide (2016) by Matt L — 25 Feb 2017
This movie reminds me of John Wick in the sense that from the first 5 minutes you're shown what to expect from the movie, and it doesn't disappoint. The beauty of this film is that it is an action movie first, and doesn't skimp on the adrenaline fueled spectacles.
The scenes with Anthony Hopkins stand out not only because of his screen presence, but also the character's motivations are easy to follow while always leaving you wanting more. Every action piece flows from one to the next in a coherent way that makes the overall story easy to follow, as well as it keeps the movie from getting stale by moving to new locations to change the feel of the action.
