Review of Collide (2016) by Stacey C — 25 Feb 2017

Collide brings some friendly reminders of John Wick (maybe because I just saw the second one) due in large part to how well this movie grabs your attention and builds from there. Much in the same vein of JW and other action movies before, Collide understands that its an action movie first and foremost, and it shows! All the actors did a great job but Anthony Hopkins' truly stood out; every time he was on screen you're gaze was almost automatically drawn to him which made him as the villain even more threatening.

Even though the action is pretty similar throughout the film each new location was utilized in a way to give the audience sometime new each time the characters moved to the next challenge without losing me in transition.
