Review of Collateral Damage (2002) by Nelson P — 09 Aug 2010
The fact that this movie topics terrorism, and in fact was held out of theaters for a few months due to 9-11, makes it a leading edge film for its time.
I enjoyed it. You have to get past that a 6'-2" bodybuilder with a German accent can penetrate into the Columbian Cartel fairly easily with only a firemans training but...buy into that and it can be a fun ride.
Awhnold is about as good as he gets in this one and over all there are much worse action hero films so...I give it a 60% with not much regret.
Decent twists and turns and good explosions.
Reading some of the comments about the premise of the film...I mean doesn't ANY Bond, Bourne, Die Hard, etc flick have a preposterous body count by one man.
