Review of Collateral Damage (2002) by Andres B — 18 Jun 2015
This is actually a more intelligent film than it's given credit for. Unfortunately, it's hard to overlook the fact that it's about an American firefighter with an Austrian accent who somehow becomes a counter-terrorist with inroads to the FBI through a completely unbelievable series of coincidences.
It's basically 80s action movie plot inconsistencies married to introspective post-9/11 realism, with a healthy dose of should've killed 'em explosions.
