An excellent film about "tough love" and the much-needed kick in the ass that some need to keep from spiraling down into despair. Is it jarring at times? Yep. But it also highlights how easy it is for grief to turn into self-indulgent wallowing.

This movie isn't for the spiritually tone deaf, though. If you don't understand basic archetypes you need not apply. However, most everyone else will find a great deal to take away from the experience.
