Absolutely not a14%, agree with 64%. It is a good movie with great acting throughout most parts. In short if collateral damage exist as an indirect outcome of negative event , for example military maneuvers, then collateral beauty most sometimes develop from negative events.

Use that premise and the movie from a theatrical aspects works. The actors and the storyline are simply meant to allow us to see all this happening to the supporting actors - not Will Smith as much.
