Review of Collateral Beauty (2016) by Mrs G — 08 Feb 2017
This movie went over the heads of the general public, not speaking of Will Smith---too many 'Saviour complex' movies; however, this was so understated, so poignant and touching, that you just didn't see what was right in front of your eyes.
Helen Mirren? forgetaboutit! great cast, good acting, great storyline that actually one or all of us can relate to. Who's to say when your grieving should be done, how dare the psychologist give you 1 year to mourn a divorce, or anything else based on societal norms.
Some are deeper than that, and pain cuts like a scalpel through the heart. others think you shouldn't feel an extraordinary amount of pain, yet, to you it's like unending waterboarding your soul with memories of those lost, never to be regained.
which would be nearly unbearable on a daily basis. whimsical moments, with a tint of levity. The unexamined life isn't worth living, many of you are walking dead with an unsung song in your heart.
Thank action cinematic films for your inner death.
