Review of Collateral Beauty (2016) by Jack S — 30 Jan 2017

I was quite surprised to see all the negative backlash and criticism this movie received, with one review even going as far to say if someone in the crowd watching had actually lost a child they'd feel offended.

Well I went to see it with my mother, who did lose a child a year before I was born. We both loved it. It seems critics relate more to movies like La La Land, a movie about the film industry and Hollywood all together, then a movie about a raw, emotional reality.

Or maybe that's just the cynic in me. Anyway, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.
