"Collateral Beauty" is flawed, beautiful, and amazing. Writer Loeb's story starts off erratically mechanical, though he and Director Frankel tell a profound story of Love, Time, and Death-- about Life.
The actors transcend the movie. Will Smith acts his ass off. Helen Mirren is awesome. Both are sublime. The narrative twists land. Allow yourself to watch "Collateral Beauty" from your soul, and experience the moving journey with Smith and Mirren. What is your why? Enjoy.
