One of the most authentic thrillers of all time in my opinion. Michael Mann's best work. From beginning to end there is a sense of tension...in every sense of the word. Something about the movie gives hope, more than just a meaningless thriller with a bunch of action.
You can really feel Max's struggle on simply remaining calm and thinking of some sort of way to survive. Jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise give top notch performances and they sync frighteningly well...Absolutely Exhilarating and well.
