Review of Cold Souls (2009) by Eric H — 18 Aug 2009
Interesting premise. Another take on the issue of identity and wanting to be something else. However, It lacked the inspiration of Being John Malkovich. The title is fitting - it is a cold film. I didn't feel much but was simply amused.
At first, the ending seemed trivial. With further thought, I found it to be fitting and even poignant. Giamatti is good, and his Russian co-star is equally good.
