It was a fine film. Invariably it will be compared to "Being John Malkovich", which I would venture is a superior experience, however if you enjoyed that one "Cold Souls" is equally interesting if not as well executed.
The main flaws are the pacing and generally depressive attitude. Maybe it's just Giamatti who is a fine actor but might benefit from the verve expressed in "Shoot 'Em Up".
