THis movie is GREAT! You know, I don't have a lot to say about this movie as far as it relates to 'critiquing'. Because when I was watching this movie, I wasn't watching it as a movie snob, trying to find mistakes left and right and shit to complain about.

I was actually really enthralled by the concept and story of the movie, therefore while the concept was very absurdist, I actually bought into the characters as real people. Which is an odd thing to say when your movie is about soul storing.

But I bought into them nonetheless and when that happens I don't usually look at "well the dialogue in this movie is wooden, the cinematography is poor", that doesn't figure in when I'm watching a movie where I believe in the characters.

It's odd, but that's the way it usually is, therefore when I review movies like this I usually have very very little to say other than this is a great movie and that no words could this movie justice.

Another thing I like about this movie is that it made me think. It made me think about the concept, it made me think about what my soul would look like if I could look inside it for 5 minutes and existentialism, it's just a very interesting concept that, in a way, challenges you.

And movies don't really challenge me anymore (which is a good AND bad thing), so this is a breath of fresh air. Not to say that because it's a breath of fresh air I'll instantly say it's a great movie, it is a great movie.

It has great concept, great storytelling, great acting, great cinematography. It has everything going for it to be honest, it's funny enough but it's not a laugh out loud comedy (not that it's supposed to be).

I think this movie combies drama and comedy nicely. Paul Giamatti is really great in this movie. Just great, he's such an underrated actor it's not even FUNNY, and it's something the movie actually deals with (Hint: Al Pacino's name is involved) in a funny moment.

With that said, I can't believe only 49% of flixster users liked this movie, bunch of bozos. It's not a movie you'll see every week that's for sure, but that doesn't mean it's bad.

It's a great movie with a challenging concept. And that's not something you're going to get from Iron Man 2. This is a case of people having a wrong opinion, yes that's possible. If someone tells you this movie is bad then they just have a wrong opinion.

Anyways, I have nothing but good things to say about this movie and you should all watch it NOW!
