Along the same lines as "being john malkovich" and "i heart huckabees", "cold souls" is a psychological and philosophical drama that begins with a rather interesting rene descartes quote about souls and you could imagine where it goes from there.
brilliant acting by paul giamatti and a brilliant philosophical screenplay! It's certainly a great movie if you want to have a serious discussion about souls and their theological and philosophical existence.
..certainly a movie that will leave you with some great conversations after wards.
