Review of Cold Souls (2009) by Adam W — 19 Sep 2010
Some great ideas here but somewhat diluted and muddled with some unnecessary story elements. Often feels like it's recycling material from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and at times really does feel like scraps from Charlie Kaufman's table.
The potential of the premise is fantastic unfortunately it falls some what short despite a strong performance from Paul Giamatti.
Better than a Cold worse than Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Recommended if your a big fan of Paul Giamatti or have a love for existential science fiction otherwise avoid.
