Review of Cold Pursuit (2019) by X0V3Rkilx — 09 Apr 2016

The best mindless, 1.5 hour long gore-fest I've ever seen. Somehow, this movie manages to make a great experience out of a script that involves pretty much zero coherent storytelling or compelling characters.

I was expecting to leave the theater saying "this is really the sort of thing that belongs on YouTube and is best kept to 15 minutes or less". I couldn't have been more wrong. Those 90 minutes pass by incredibly fast, as there isn't a dull moment to be seen in this entire movie.

There are plenty of intelligent think-pieces coming out this year. If you're looking for a good movie to shift your brain into neutral and just enjoy an endless onslaught of action and hilarious mayhem, this is the movie for you.
