Beautiful, compelling, wonderfully acted if a little cold. No pun intended. Gorgeously realised. Portman is heartbreaking. She is the actress of her generation. But what is Jack White doing in this film? Otherwise a supporting cast of superb semi-name actors.
Ray Winstone is eeevil! but sweet actor Charlie Hunman is pure eeevill! Jeez man he gave me chills down my spine. Pity Kidman and Law couldn't even raise a single sympathy vote. This mountain needed heating up a little.
