I will not spoil anything in the movie for you.
Suffice it to say, they took a current scientific idea to its extreme. The movie explores the effects of some of the weirder elements of quantum mechanics. That might sound like a boring lecture, but it is anything but.
The acting is well done, the script is excellent, and the movie lets you figure much out yourself. It never hits you over the head with the various elements it explores, instead allowing you to infer the meaning behind the scenes.
The movie is a total mind bender throughout, and is truly excellent.
