Review of Coherence (2014) by Joel C — 04 Oct 2015
One of the marks of great science fiction is how much you think about it after reading and/or seeing it. Coherence does a great job of this, as what initially seems like a puzzle to be solved rapidly devolves into a consideration of who we really area and what we really want.
This is the kind of movie where if I see it playing on TV in the middle of the day, I'd get sucked into watching the whole thing, which is one of the best compliments I think you can level at a movie.
Not incredible, but solid. Probably a 3 star with a heavy +1 bias for me on the subject matter.
