Review of Coherence (2014) by Oubon P — 25 Dec 2017
This indie film reminds me of the ambitious Primer, another film I wish to review agaib at some stage. The storyline is simple but the depth of character and mystery is amazing. The filmmaker hasn't done anything since which is a shame, the ambition and creativity keeps you guessing until the bitter conclusion.
I was lucky to discover this film and now sing it high praise for originality. My only real issue with the film is the conclusion, which is a little underwhelming and offers an odd choice for such a creative film.
I'm eager to see where the filmmaker heads next. 25-12-2017.
