Review of Coffy (1973) by Jeff! R — 12 Feb 2007
This movie is fantastic! Pam Grier is so bad ass and sexy in this movie it's unbelievable. Not only will she not take shit from "whitey," but she's not taking shit from anybody! Men, women, you name it! In my opinion this is a very forward thinking film and it's really just a fun movie to watch! Also, a great early appearance by Sid Haig.
As with most Blaxploitation films of the time, this is a must see for anyone interested in the canon of American Independent film.
