Review of Coffee and Cigarettes (2004) by Bryan T — 07 Mar 2008
I hate it when films take precisely episodic approaches, because they strip the movie of any sort of spine leaving the audience with not much to hold onto. But this is pretty pleasant. There are really only three or four that I like, but at least the others aren't intolerable.
Interesting but overly-indulgent in the way it deliberately pairs mismatched icons in the same frame to get them talking. All in all, worth seeing once or twice. Alfred Molina's segment is by far the best in the whole movie.
