Review of Coffee and Cigarettes (2004) by Andreas O — 15 May 2011
Artsy yet relaxed tribute to the art of casual conversation. Uneven cinematic experiment, with some memorable scenes and some quite forgettable. The top ones being Iggy Pop and Tom Waits arguing about nothing and Cate Blanchett playing opposite herself.
A couple of other scetches, however, were near cringe-worthy. On the whole, a nice movie to enjoy a cup of coffee to.
