Review of Coffee and Cigarettes (1987) by Glenn S — 24 Nov 2009
I can´t review this collection of short movies as a whole film, but overall I enjoyed some of the stories, others just left me puzzled and some were almost completely incoherent. My favorite short is the one of the twin brothers discussing with a waiter about Elvis and his evil twin, others that I enjoyed is the one with Iggy Pop , the one with the girl reading gun magazines and also the one in which Jack White explains Meg, how a Tesla coil works, some of them were completely stupid, but I enjoyed most of the shorts so I recommend it to patient people who can tolerate a film with just great dialogs, coffees and cigarettes.
