Review of Code Unknown (2000) by Samantha A — 22 Jun 2007
Mildly frustrating but enriching and profoundly complex film that deals with Haneke's trademark themes including alienation, immigration, ethics etc. Subtitled: Incomplete Tales of Several Journeys.
As it is expected with Haneke, it's generally anti-cathartic. Not nearly his best but still better than what everyone else is creating.
